What is Steperly?
Steperly helps teams record a workflow once and turn it into an interactive demo and walkthrough video. Those outputs can be shared directly or packaged in Rooms, Help Centers, and embeds.
Can I create a guide from a video?
Yes. Record or upload a product walkthrough, review the suggested steps, and publish. You get an interactive demo and a narrated video, with every step written out below.
What can I create for free?
Start with interactive demos and hosted videos. Recording and AI limits apply. Up to 30 sec per recording on Free. MP4 downloads require an eligible paid plan and export access.
Is enhancing a recording the same as making a walkthrough video?
No. A walkthrough video presents your edited steps. Video enhancement is a separate, access-controlled path for editing the original recording with captions, zooms, and trimming. Its MP4 export requires eligible paid access; it is not included in the free hosted-video promise.
How is Walk Live different from an interactive demo?
An interactive demo lets someone explore a published version of your workflow. Walk Live guides them inside the real application through an embedded Help Center. It requires eligible access, SDK installation, allowed-domain configuration, and verified published targets; uploading a video alone does not install it.
Do viewers need a Steperly account?
No. Published demos, videos, and portals can be shared with the people who need them, while your workspace stays private.
Can I use Steperly for internal and customer docs?
Yes. Demos and videos can be shared directly, grouped in help centers, and embedded in the places where customers and teammates already work.
Do edits automatically update every shared copy?
Revise your content and republish the formats you use to update hosted experiences. Previously downloaded videos are separate files: regenerate and resend them when the workflow changes.
Can I publish in another language?
Yes. The recording workflow can use the source language and create demos and videos for the audience you need.
